Thank you both, Dotpitch and bauxite69, for taking me a step closer!
Unfortunately, - maybe i totally misunderstood the mechanism - the "separate MOD instruments" option upon writing wav files somehow doesn't work. Somehow = not.
I know that Oktalyzer uses 'interlaced'/semi-mixed 8-voice generation and thus some distortion that comes with the distinctive sound of oktalyzer modules, as well as a drastic decrease of amplitude for the later versions of Oktalyzer to work around the 'interlace' trick, are real unique features of oktalyzer. I also have implemented the 4-channel replay routine on the amiga, back in the days - which is why i have pretty much exactly an idea of how oktalyzer works. It was one of the first trackers, which - as far as i am informed - was capable of 8 channel playback on the amiga. And because i came across it in like 1989, i continued using it until 1995, which means i have *alot* of tunes that i want to 'rework'. I have used some eagleplayer based amiga conversion tool before, but the results for switching to OctaMED were just not sufficient, since many of the sample control commands are not properly transferred.
I am just saying all the above to make clear, that i am not interested in more ... difficult .... solutions. I also attempted to make my own kind of implementation in java or c using given libraries - i was not aware that the dlls could be used as plugins in XMPLay - which is totally awesome.
So. How do we convince XMPLay's 'separate MOD instruments' wav-writing method to ... for example just mute each instrument after another to write split-single-tracks for each instrument used? Is there a way i can actually customly interfere with the given application and plugins? Please excuse my lazieness to research it myself, but before i really dig into stuff, i'd like to make sure that there aint nobody else who does it in the blink of an eye. And from my experience, there is someone out there who must only sneeze to have the solution ready before i even googeled how stuff interacts here.
Any help is *greatly* appreciated, and i bet i am not entirely alone with my legacy tracker formats which i want to run through my mastering machinery. Hassle-Free, ofcourse :-) (Oh and i am totally overwhelmed how alive this forum is! <3 !)
