MP3 Stream Editor Edit Plugin architecture
« on: 20 Oct '05 - 07:42 »
Hi!

I am developing MP3 Stream Editor to support input formats for native editing of various streams. ;D
WAV PCM Edit Plugin (p_stream_WAV) is available as an example. I am looking for help on various stream format specs and/or code.
You can make your own Edit Plugins with the help of the MP3SE SDK. Only one function is needed for edit capability!!! 8)
Code: [Select]
function CopyStream(Stream: TBassStreamItem; FirstFrame: Int64; Frames2copy: Int64; OutFile: String; AppendMode: Boolean): Int64; stdcall; export;
Frames are pseudo frames for MPEG that is one frame is a 0.026 second length of an audio stream.
You can ask money or whatever for your plugins if you write one. Also plugin writers are entitled for a registered copy of MP3 Stream Editor also. 8)
Now all the formats could be edited easely with the help of the Edit Plugin architecture.

I am waiting for your input!
