« on: 19 Jun '07 - 23:17 »
Hi...

I'm using XMPlay 3.4.1 and I'm listening ".977 Radio Station" but the song titles doesn't appears. Is something wrong with the streaming?, Doesn't 977 send the song title?

This links could be usefull

Does work here. Do you have 'Update title from cues' ticked? (Don't know if that makes a difference, but perhaps...)

Titles are working fine with that stream here too. Is it only with that stream that you don't see titles there?

Btw, "Update title from cues" won't make any difference - there's no way enable or disable stream titles :)

No... I have the same problem with all the shoutcast.  For example, this ones doesn't show the song titles

Strange. Please post the "General" (F1) and "Message" (F2) info text from when you play the 977 stream (wait a bit in case the track title info isn't sent immediately). Note you can copy the info text by right-clicking and "Copy to clipboard".

That looks like the stream is being downloaded/played by the Windows Media stuff, instead of XMPlay. Do you have a firewall/proxy, and what do you have the "proxy" set to in XMPlay?

Yes, it is... I'm behind a proxy and a firewall.

- The configuration has the proxy setting on

  Internet streaming ------------------------------------------------
       Buffer  --+----------------- 5s   [ ] Restrict download rate

  • Proxy  (proxy.ourhost.com.co      )
  • Auto-reconect

- But I uncheck the option, close and open XMPlay and everything keeps equal

  Internet streaming ------------------------------------------------
       Buffer  --+----------------- 5s   [ ] Restrict download rate
       [ ] Proxy  (                                   )    [ ] Auto-reconect

Have you tried enabling the "Proxy" option, but leaving the text box empty? If not, please do so.
