Album and Cover Art Vis Plugin (xmp-coverart rev.8, source code)

I know I haven't gotten a response yet (Barna where are you? lol), but I'm gonna go ahead with this one other thought I have about this plugin. If at all possible, I'd like to see a better algorithm for the image resizing of the cover art. I'm okay with how it looks when the image gets scaled up in size, but when it gets scaled down (downsampling) it could use some definite improvement in the quality of the image. Yes a higher quality image might take slightly longer to render, but I think the trade-off is worth it in the end. I don't write C+ code myself, but if you were to make the source code available I'm sure someone could work on this if you are busy with other things. Barna??? :)

Want to delete Cover Art v6, what name that plugin has? Can't find it.

Side note: I had a mail forwarded to Barna, but since it's Xmas I don't know if/when he'll answer.
It was for coverart and wavis. Let's wait and see. ;)

Hey there
Not sure if anyone is still interested, but 5 years after I promised it, I finally cleaned up and uploaded the source code of this plugin and xmp-wavis.

https://github.com/schellingb/xmp-coverart

The new build available on the github releases page was briefly tested on Windows 10 with the latest XMPlay.
I also removed the google and amazon download services because they aren't easily fixable. Flickr and Last.fm are the only working services left so that part of the plugin is kinda useless.

Sorry for being (very) late with this, but life got in the way I guess.

Same here Barna, thank you!!  Your cover art plugin is essential to my use of XMPlay and great to have an update.

Thanks for the plugin update Barna. It's up on the XMPlay support site now too.
